CamTAD’s major aims are to ensure that hearing impaired people have the highest possible quality of life and are aware of all the services and strategies available to them. In support of these aims CamTAD has acted as a pressure group, self-help group and engaged in training and public awareness activities.

New Treasurer Required!!

We currently have a vacancy for the Treasurer’s position on the Committee. This post is a voluntary position, knowledge of Moneymatters accounting system is needed, available to attend committee meetings in the daytime, once a month and to complete the finance details for the month to be presented at the meeting. Please contact the office on 01332 258143 for more information, and we will pass your details onto the Committee.

Volunteer? Oh I’m not sure I could do that!

I saw an article about CamTAD in our local church magazine shortly after moving into the area from Yorkshire. The article was asking for volunteers to help within the charity CamTAD, with full training given, for a few hours a month. As I was new to the area and felt a bit like “Billy no Mates”, I rang the number and was invited to attend for an informal chat.

Lip reading classes
